Last Tuesday I was sitting at work when these flowers were delivered! This time of year my office gets all kinds of goodies from other offices so I just thought thats was what it was until the guy asked if a Lacey Jones was there. I immediately turned my head and said that was me! Who would be sending me flowers I asked myself. I opened the card and it said "I'm starting a tradition of giving you something after each sport I coach. It may not always be flowers, but this time it is. I don't know what I would do without you. I love you!" I started crying! It came at just the right time when I need something. This is so unlike Brandon. He always makes sure I know how much he loves me but this time he went the extra mile. Now I get 3 extra surprises a year. I love Brandon so dang much!! Thanks hb!!!!!!!

Football and Thanksgiving weekend
Sorry this is so long I need to catch up.
First, Moapa Valley High School took state once again. This makes a back to back title. Its been 40 years since the school has done that. Im so happy for Brandon. All the film watching paid off.
For Thanksgiving we went to Orem Ut to Brandons sister house. We had alot of fun. Brooke had pumpkins from Halloween ( not carved) and Thanksgiving that she used to decorate and decided to have a pumpkin launch/ throwing contest. Behind her house is a canal so we went on her deck to see who could throw them the farthest. Brandon won the first round. Then Brandon and Don used a towel to launch the big huge pumpkins. It was alot of fun.
Friday night we all bundled up and went up to Salt Lake to see the lights at temple square. I had never been there to see the lights. It was so pretty but there was way too many people there. I highly recommend it but not on a Friday night. Oh and take some hot chocolate.
While all the family was together (which doesn't happen to often) we took a family picture. I learned how to use the timer function on my camera (which Brandon isn't to happy about now because that means more pictures of me and him) so we got everyone in place and I would push the button and run to get in the picture.

4 years ago today Brandon took me up to Bootleg Canyon in Boulder City at a look out point looking out onto the Vegas Valley, had a little picnic and all my favorite foods, (crazy bread, Fuze banana colada and Chocolate covered strawberries), and made me the happiest person in the world by asking me to be his wife!!! He did such an amazing job keeping it a secret from me. I knew he was going to propose but I didnt know when. I thought he was going to wait until Christmas because I didnt want that. Im so lucky to have Brandon in my life and as my best friend forever and ever. I love him so dang much. HB, thanks so much for all you do for me. You have no idea how many times I thank heavenly father for sending you to me! I know I have been crazy these last few months and thanks for being there for me, for holding me when I cry and making me laugh when I need it. I cant wait to get home and spend time with you everyday. You make me want to be a better person and be the best I can. I LOVE YOU SO DANG MUCH!!!! please dont ever forget that! Love your HB!!!!

Cutest Boys
Last week I took some picuters of my nephews for my sister in law. Since I'm going to be taking photography classes it was the perfect chance to practice. It also helped having the cutest models! Here are some of my favorites.

Back to school!
So I have decided that I'm going back to school! I am going to start taking photography courses. I have a supper nice camera (a canon 40d) that Brandon bought me for Christmas last year and I want to fully learn how to use it. I know how to turn it on and take pictures but I want to understand all the settings. So watch out I'm going to need models!

Colors
So tonight I realized that my whole blog was done in GREEN! That's a huge sin out here because that is Virgin Valley colors. We are the Pirates and we are BLUE. With Brandon being a coach in almost every sport out here, I thought I'd better change! Now we wont get kicked out of town.

Tobago- My new favorite place in the world!
So Tobago is my new Favorite place in the world. Its everything I imagined a Caribbean vacation to be! The place we stayed at was right a private beach! It was so relaxing and peaceful. The only sad part was we were there the shortest amount of time. Hopefully we can go back there soon.
Look close and you can see that the sign says "mini mart". Yes this was a real mini mart. People just set up stands where ever and that how the make their money. They sell fresh fruit and whatever else they might think you will buy.
Grandma & Jordan on their balcony.
Brandon & I on our balcony. Yes that's the awesome view we had! It was so beautiful.
Another view from our balcony. The water looks farther away than it really was. You could throw a rock and hit the water.
We stopped and had lunch at this awesome place. It was on top of a little mountain and this was the view. They had one of those infinity pools you could swim in and they would bring you lunch. People pay big bucks for views like this but the best part was we didn't! I've never seen anything so amazing.

Trinidad
Ok there are so many pictures I dont know where to start. Im going to do posts by island starting with Trinidad. Brandon spent the most time here. It it not a tourist island and is not very safe. We were there from Aug 10-13. We drove around alot and were able to see some really neat things. We also met up with a family Brandon was close with. It was so fun to meet them and we were able to go to dinner.
Jordan Grandma and I enjoying Apple J and shark
This bamboo tree was HUGE! It was so awesome.
The family Brandon worked with. They took us to an Indian restaurant and we ate Roti. Roti is similar to pita bread. You tear and rip the roti and mix it with rice, different meats-chicken, lamb and beef- in curry sauce. You eat it by mixing it together with your hands, no silverware! They LOVE curry so everything was spicy. Oh and the drinks are fresh and I mean fresh fruit juices. They are fresh squeezed and nothing added. Yummy I loved them.
These were what alot of the houses looked liked. Families would live in these tiny places. WoW Im lucky for what I do have.

A real banana tree and coconut tree. There were vendors all over selling coconuts. They use a huge machete to cut the top off and you drink the water inside. Its supposed to be supper good for you. They weren't brown like i thought coconuts were. These were green.
