I Just Love My Husband!
"I just love my husband so dang much!" That's what I had to keep telling myself Thursday night at 11pm when I opened the dryer to an entire load of khaki's ruined because of a pen left in someones pocket. That's right the entire load (about $500 worth of clothes) and the inside of the dryer covered with black ink. I didn't know whether to laugh or cry. After an hour and a trip to the store for nail polish remover I was able to use my dryer again. I wish I would have taken pictures but I was to mad. Now do I make Brandon do his own laundry or sew his pockets shut so this doesn't happen again.

How sad! I guess I'm too nice to Justin cause I always check his pockets. But I know if I don't the same thing would happen! :)
Okay, Rachael and I just had this conversation a few days ago! We have both had the same thing happen (in my case, twice!) It is so darn maddening. And the thing thqat makes me so mad is that it ruined mine and Lexi's stuff more than his. I do check his pokets, but he has those shorts with about ten pockets, and who can take time to check all of those? I laid down the law after the second incident an told him he is not allowed to put pens in his pockets, ever! And strangely enough it has not happened again! Ya gotta love 'em!
Oh No Lace!!!! I think the "no pen" rule should be laid down like Jolynn said! Darn that Brandon!
haha ok i have to laugh now i would've cried then. i cried when this red/orange stuff got on my favorite jeans. but i just kept wearnign them and it finally washed out. hey you might start a new fashion with your jeans :] good rule. ours is gum so now i have to check my pockets when I take my pants off. lol but i am sorry that stinks really bad but hey think on the positive taht means you get to go shopping and can come to st. george and see me :]
Oh my gosh...that is just too funny! Sew his pockets shut! lol! I usually wash my chapstick and have grease spots all over. I'm pretty anal about checking all of our pockets now :)
oh man! i find pens in chad's pockets all the time! luckily i haven't washed them!
Haven't we ALL had days like this that we have to keep reminding ourselves how much we love our husbands?! Sorry about your dryer! What a downer!
I couldn't imagine! Paul has left his chapstick in his clothes multiple times and I always get so mad because it's my stuff that gets ruined, not his! go figure!
